Substance use can be confusing, overwhelming, and difficult to talk about, and many people seek help during moments of uncertainty, fear, or urgency—when clarity feels out of reach and the system feels hard to navigate.
At Lighthouse Assessments, I provide independent, virtual comprehensive substance use assessments (formerly known as Rule 25 assessments) for individuals 18 and older throughout Minnesota. These assessments are clinical tools designed to screen for substance use disorders while honoring the reality that alcohol and drug use never exists in isolation—it is shaped by relationships, stress, trauma, family systems, and broader life contexts.
Grounded in curiosity, respect, and clinical integrity, my approach avoids judgment, labels, or pressure; instead, I see you as the expert on your own life. My role is to serve as a steady point of orientation—like a lighthouse—offering thoughtful clinical insight and clear guidance so you can understand where you are and move forward with confidence.
